Commitments

What stays in your hands, and what we commit to.

Attached Intelligence is AI that holds your intentions as they change, so you can see what matters to you and choose what comes next. It is designed as one relationship with three sides, and it holds only when each side keeps its part: the assistant takes part in your work, you remain the author of your meaning, and Etcera holds itself to account.

This page sets out two of those sides in detail: what stays in your hands when you use Etcera Space, including how the assistant treats you, and what Etcera commits to as a company.

Each one is marked by how true it is. True today means what Etcera Space does now, for everyone. Being built means decided and specified, and not yet finished. What we are working toward is a direction we hold ourselves to, and not yet a protection.

The statuses are our own assessment, last reviewed on 15 October 2026. If you think one is wrong, tell us. The binding text behind them is in our legal pages: the terms, the privacy policy, the acceptable use policy and the list of who processes your information.

What stays in your hands

Your side of the relationship, and how the assistant keeps to it.

True today

  1. Authorship. You choose what happens next, and you decide what an experience means. The assistant helps you remember what happened and see what is possible.
  2. Explore first. You do not have to name an intention before you start. Begin wherever you are, and name it when it becomes clear.
  3. Proposals stay proposals. Everything the assistant suggests is marked as a proposal. Nothing is applied until you accept it.
  4. Every word has an author. Etcera records who wrote each thing: you or the assistant.
  5. See what Etcera holds. You see what Etcera holds about you, including your intentions, beliefs, topics and history.
  6. Set it straight. When Etcera misreads you, you correct it. What you reject stays rejected.
  7. Room to change. You revise, release or begin again whenever you choose. What you thought before is kept, and it does not decide who you are now.
  8. Yours alone. Your Space is private. No other person or organization sees it.
  9. No manipulation. Etcera never uses what it knows about you to manipulate you.
  10. Your copy, on request. You get a copy of what you have written whenever you ask.
  11. Erase everything. You ask us to erase your account, and we erase everything, including what we derived from it.
  12. A real answer. You report a problem, and you get an answer.
  13. Human review. If you disagree with how we handled something, a person on our support team reviews it again.

What we are working toward

  1. Take it with you. You will run your own export, with everything you have written and its history, without asking us.
  2. Remove one thing. You will delete a single thing, and the deletion will reach what was derived from it.
  3. See the why. You will see where an understanding came from, and why the assistant holds it.
  4. Shape what is remembered. You will shape what Etcera remembers and where it uses it.
  5. Keep contexts apart. What you share for one purpose will stay within the boundaries you set.

Our commitments

Etcera's side of the relationship: what the company requires of itself.

True today

  1. Not for sale. We do not sell your attention, predictions about you, or a way to influence you.
  2. Not training data. Your conversations do not train AI models. We train none, and our model provider keeps nothing you send.
  3. In your service only. What we hold about you is only used to serve you.
  4. Every provider named. We name every provider that processes your information, where it does so, and what it sees. See who they are.
  5. Honest claims. We only claim what we can show. This page is how we keep to it.

What we are working toward

  1. An easy exit. Leaving will be easy, with nothing held back to keep you.
  2. A key of your own. Your data will be encrypted at rest with a key specific to you.
  3. Only what is needed. We will collect and keep only what the service needs, including what we derive.

Where this leads

What stays in your hands, and what we commit to, are what the relationship rests on. The choices stay yours, and we say plainly which of our promises are kept today and which we are still working toward.

Both serve something larger than a product. Our vision names what we are building toward. Read it in full, or request access to Etcera Space.
